Japanese should learn Japanese?!

ことばの取り扱い注意
I read the article. Whatever you speak or use langrage, it is very very hard to find good words in every situation. Right now, as you know I have been studying in Canada to learn English. However, when I read below article(Yahoo news) about Japanese seems to forget their own language, I would like to warn Japanese about learning Japanese.
Actually, even though English is not my first language, I always care about using right words in the situation when I talk to my friends.
Because sometimes difference of cultures and thinking makes us misunderstand each other conversation.

OK, one example for you. I met one girl whose parents are both Korean. Her father teaches Korean culture in a university in Shiga, Japan. When I met her for the first time, she is very talkative. Then my mother had a chance to see them. When she reported me about her, I was very shocked. Because her character totally changed after she started to go International school. Since she goes to the school, she should speak English in the school, at home she uses Korean in addition if she wants to play with neighbours, she should use Japanese.

Can you imagine in her mind?

In her mind, she is always confusing what words should she use.
Do you know the word "identity", don't you?
If their identities do not built up properly, many people lost their ways. It is very hard to find their opinions by themselves. Also, making decision is based on their identities.

Unfortunately, her parents do not notice the happening on their daughter. It is too sad to hear that.

Japanese is very complicated; I finally realized that since I came here in Canada. Many parents want their children to get English skills when they are young, but I strongly believe Japanese should learn and know Japanese language and culture than studying second language. Make sure, I do not tell you not to study English, because I also write down the article in English.

But we have to reconsider about our first language.
