BUS

I listed the differences bus system between Japan and Canada .

The first, there is a machine for making a small change in Japanese bus.
If there is no small coin to ride on a bus, we do not need to worry that.
On the other hand, in Canada there is no machine same as Japan. However, I have
seen a scenery such as someone who does not have small coins asked passengers to give him small coins………..

In Japan, we can use many kinds of card(named “Bus card”) to pay fee.
It is common to use a bass pass to commute every day.
Interestingly in Canada (only Vancouver?) if I buy a bus pass middle of the month, I have to pay a lot of loss.
For example, I can buy a bus pass on 16th of April in Japan but, if I bought same way in Canada, I should wait until the first of May.

Finally, in Japan we can not avoid from announce during the ride on bus.
On the other hand, Canadian announce system is depends on drivers.
They are so unique. at the Christmas season, we can see a driver who wears a santa hat, and wears a cute tie…in addition, a woman driver decorated a flower on the box which we pay fee.
